What are the RMA's hours?
- We are open for phone calls Monday through Saturday from 8am until 9pm. You can, of course, email us at any time and we will
respond promptly. We have instruction Mondays through Saturdays, but it is best to call to make an appointment if you
would like to meet an instructor as they are often in lessons. Typical hours of instruction are around 2pm to 9pm on weekdays
and then a bit more fleixble on Saturdays. Contact us for the specifics.
Which instruments are offered?
- We currently teach guitar, bass, piano, voice, drums, banjo and mandolin. We offer group and private lessons
for guitar. All other instruments are offered as private lessons.
Do you sell musical instruments?
- We do not sell musical instruments or any other gear. We are a music lessons facility only and will gladly help direct
students to appropriate local music stores for those items.
What are your prices and class lengths?
- Given that we have private and group classes, as well as family discounts for multiple students, that information can
vary. It is best to contact us and we will provide the proper information for your exact needs.
Am I required to participate in the monthly student performances?
- The student performances are voluntary and are no additional charge. Any of our private lesson students are eligible
to take part. The RMA enjoys giving its students ample opportunities to perform and learn about playing with other musicians.
Do you have rental instruments?
- We have acoustic and electric guitars, basses and banjos for rent for those who would like to try the lessons without purchasing
an instrument first.
Do I have to enroll for an entire semester?
- We operate lessons on a month to month basis and not by semesters. This gives the students maximum flexibility in scheduling and is much
easier financially.
Who is the next famous artist appearing at the RMA?
- As soon as we have an artist booked and confirmed for a workshop, clinic, or concert, we announce it via our website
and mailing list.
